3 things to remember as you search and settle on a NEW HOME for you
I believe that your home is more than a house, more than just a place to live. It's your dwelling place, a retreat, a place to live and make memories.
It is no small feat to pack up one home and create a new home in a new house. Be kind to yourself throughout the process of selling and buying. Trust and rely on your Realtor® (Jill!) to help guide you through this process.
Keep these 3 guidelines in your mind as you go through the home selling and buying process.
1.) Acknowledge. Acknowledge the memories and how your current home has served you. You have lived life in those walls. You leave the house but you take those memories with you!
2.) WHY:
Remember the WHY of your move: More space, downsizing, new job, city life, country life. This WHY will keep you motivated to continue searching until you see the right house. It is out there for you!
3.) Time. In due time your new house will feel more like home. With your people in the house, your favorite things there and new memories created there it is home.
